Use subtle metaphysical forces to control people.
Peer review is a staple of modern academia. The basic idea is that publication requires prior approval from expert “anonymous reviewers” whose identities remain hidden from the author. One flaw of this process is that anonymity undermines accountability, which sometimes leads to abuse. This can be the most frustrating part of an academic’s job. But those with high midi-chlorian counts can learn to use the Force to compel fair treatment even from anonymous reviewers. There are openings in my lab for anyone competent in this methodology.
