Does Perceiving Entail Knowing?

This paper makes two arguments.  First, it argues against an influential view about the relationship between perception and knowledge. In particular, it argues that perceiving does not entail knowing. Second, in light of that, it argues that knowledge is not the most general factive propositional attitude.
